Remote CPD event on flat feet in adults
The event, organised by Pure Physio and supported by Medbelle, will be hosted by Mr Anand Pillai, an experienced foot and ankle surgeon.

Medbelle and Pure Physio have teamed up to provide another Continual Professional Development (CPD) event, this time on the subject of flat feet in adults.
The event is particularly suited to consultants, physiotherapists and GPs. In line with Medbelle’s commitment to providing free access to education, anyone can attend the event without payment or registration by following this Microsoft Teams link at 7pm BST on Wednesday 12 October.
The evening lecture, entitled The Adult Flat Foot, will be delivered online by Mr Anand Pillai, a consultant orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeon with experience from illustrious medical and academic institutions around the world.
About Anand Pillai
Mr Pillai will be sharing the wealth of experience he has picked up over a varied career. Following his graduation, he began his specialist training in orthopaedic and foot surgery in west Scotland before going on to undertake further sub-specialist fellowships in both Australia and UK.
He was awarded a fellowship in Ilizarov techniques and limb deformity correction at the world-renowned Russian Ilizarov Scientific Centre in Kurgan, Siberia. He held honorary academic positions with both the University of Adelaide and the University of Dundee for his achievements and contributions to the field.
On top of his experience at some of the world’s leading academic institutions, Mr Pillai has worked alongside members of Team GB during the Olympic and Commonwealth Games, as well as with UFC fighters and professional footballers.
A member of the British, American and European Foot & Ankle Societies, Mr Pillai is also a Senior Clinical Lecturer with both the University of Manchester and the University of Salford. He has been appointed a visiting Senior Lecturer at the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur.
